This coffee is very strong but is actually very healthy for your heart. It has a bold flavor but is smooth on your palate.

Serves: 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 TB. sugar
- 4 TB. ground Turkish coffee
Instructions
- In a small pot or Turkish coffee pot over low heat, combine water, sugar, and Turkish coffee. Simmer, stirring, for 3 minutes, allowing foam to form on top of coffee. Be careful not to let coffee to boil over. If coffee seems to rise, remove from heat for 5 seconds and then return to heat and continue cooking.
- Let coffee sit for 3 minutes, allowing coffee grounds to settle to the bottom of the pot.
- Serve warm in an espresso cup with some foam on top.

Tasty Tip
Some people like to add ground cardamom to Turkish coffee. If you like that flavor, add [1/8] teaspoon ground cardamom to the coffee pot when you add the ground coffee.
