Tahini Sauce (Tarator)

This dipping sauce is great for falafel or as a dressing for a salad. Tahini sauce has a nutty flavor followed by a bit of tang, thanks to lemon juice and hint of garlic.
Servings: 2 cups
  • 1 cup Tahini Paste (recipe earlier in this chapter)
  • [1/3] cup lemon juice
  • 1 TB. minced garlic
  • [2/3] cup water
  • [1/2] tsp. salt
  • 1 TB. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 TB. fresh chopped radish
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together Tahini Paste, lemon juice, garlic, water, and salt.
  2. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. When ready to serve, top with a sprinkle of parsley and chopped radish.
Tasty Tip
If you like your sauce thicker, reduce the amount of water. If you like your sauce thinner, add a bit more water.
