This simple syrup has wonderful undertones of orange blossoms and rose petals. It's easy to make and great for using as a dessert topping.

Serves: 3 cups
Ingredients
2 cupssugar
1 cupwater
2 TB. fresh lemon juice
2 TB. orange blossom water
2 TB.rose water
Instructions
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sugar, water, and lemon juice. Simmer for 14 minutes or until syrup starts to thicken and coats the back of a spoon.
Stir in orange blossom water and rose water, and simmer for 1 more minute. Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature.
Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
