Tender meat and potatoes take on new flavors with sweet sauteed onions and warm seven spices.

Serves: 8 cups
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef or lamb
[1/4] cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 large chopped yellow onion
5 peeled and cubed large potatoes
1[1/2] tsp.salt
1 TB.seven spices
[1/2] tsp. ground black pepper
Instructions
In a large, 3-quart pot over medium heat, brown beef for 5 minutes, breaking up chunks with a wooden spoon.
Add extra-virgin olive oil and yellow onion, and cook for 5 minutes.
Toss in potatoes, salt, seven spices, and black pepper. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Toss gently, and cook for 10 more minutes.
Serve warm with a side of Greek yogurt.
Notes
Tasty Tip Be gentle when tossing the potatoesâ€â€Âyou don't want them to turn to mush. Try using a metal spoon to gently toss them in the pan.
